Libya Threats

In recent months, instability in the Libyan coastal region has increased. Armed groups with access to an unknown number of small boats continue to operate in the Central Mediterranean near the Libyan coast. Mariners are advised to conduct thorough risk assessments prior to voyages near this region, and when transiting these waters, extra vigilance is strongly advised.
